| Butterfly Habitat and Eco System
Horizon Elementary School Horizon elementary school wanted to turn an enclosed courtyard into a functional instructional area where students would be able to conduct science projects involving eco systems and the study of the life cycle of insects, specifically butterflies A teacher at Horizon approached Boy Scout Troop 572 and requested that the troop coordinate the effort, which included securing the funds, volunteer labor, materials and plants. Eagle Scout candidate, Joey Zedan, of Troop 572 has accepted the project as his Eagle Scout project. The project was completed on Friday April 2nd, 2004. The project was divided into three major phases:
